BEST – Board of European Students of Technology Erlangen
BEST, Board of European Students of Technology is a student driven non-profit and non-political organization.
BEST strives to help European students in technology orientated fields to become more internationally minded, by reaching a better understanding of European cultures and developing capacities to work on an international basis. Therefore BEST creates opportunities for the students to meet and learn from one another through their academic and non-academic events and educational symposia.
BEST was founded in 1989 and in 2012 a group of internationally minded students from Erlangen set out to establish the first Local BEST Group (LBG) in Germany. Ever since, LBG Erlangen has held various events ranging from Season Courses to Engineering Competitions for students at the Friedrich Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU).
bonding-studenteninitiative e.V. Hochschulgruppe Berlin
bonding-studenteninitiative e.V. is a non-profit and non-political student organization that strives to give students an insight into their professional future. bonding started in 1988 in Aachen by organizing job fairs that allow students to get to know companies, meet future employers and collect information about what the future in the working world could bring. As one of bondings main goals as a non-profit student associaton is also developing and educating students, they also organize lectures, talks and company visits. Locally, bonding Berlin was founded 25 years ago in 1991 and just organized their 25th job fair at the Technical University of Berlin.
Through a mandate of the German Federal State of Berlin, the studierendenWERK Berlin provides social, economic and cultural support services to Berlin’s students. They are here to assist students with their particular problems and to answer their questions.
